Located at Baan Samo
Klang, in Wang Thong District, the place is about 14 kilometers far from Phitsanulok city.
It is well known as Wat Phra Phutthabat Khao Samo Klang and originally, it was used as a deserted temple and then there was a Buddhist monk in 1953. Inside the temple is a replica of the Buddha and on the west side of the temple, there is footprints on the cliff. This is the beginning of the worship of the Buddha in middle of March every year. In addition, in 1992, the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara Carved from the white stone jade lake from Hangzhou, Republic of China. A special design was approved by the Chinese government, based on a model of the Guanyin Temple, Hangzhou, with 3 meters high and weighing 3 tons, and is enshrined at this temple. Next to the Guan Yin Temple, there will be a junction on the way to the Heng Chia shrine, where people of Chinese descent go to make merit. On top of that, this is another beautiful viewpoint and also the site of the Maha Chedi Sri Bwan Chinarat where the Buddha's relics contain (forehead bone of the Buddha) The pagoda has Phrom Khao Bin characteristic at the base of the Buddha statue Leela Maha Dharma on 4 sides
