Payless Roadside Assistance

In the event of a roadside emergency, the Payless Roadside Service Plan (RSP) provides help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year including holidays.

How it Works:

A brochure will be provided indicating the emergency numbers to call for roadside assistance. During regular business hours the renting location will dispatch service; after hours you will be directed to a 1-800 call center. In either event, service will be dispatched within a matter of minutes and help will be on the way.

You will be provided with a brochure RSP Program Benefits:

Battery Jumpstart – In the event the car won’t start even if you left the lights on we will jump start the vehicle and make sure you are on your way.

Lockout Service – If you accidentally lock keys in the vehicle, service will be dispatched to help you gain entry.

Flat Tire Service – We will change the flat tire with an inflated spare. If an inflated spare is not available, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest Payless location or service dealership.

Fuel Delivery – An emergency supply of fuel will be delivered to the vehicle to enable you to reach the nearest open gas station.

Towing / Winching Service – Towing or winching charges will be covered if the vehicle becomes inoperable. The vehicle will be towed to the nearest Payless Car Rental location, service facility or dealership. In most cases, a replacement vehicle will be provided.

RSP Rates:

RSP is offered as an optional product at most Payless Car Rental locations in the United States and Canada. The cost may vary from location to location, please refer to the individual location policy under keyword “Roadside Assistance”. By accepting the RSP option, a daily charge will apply, as specified in the rental agreement, for each full and/or partial day.

Terms and Conditions:

Reckless and intentional acts may include, but are not limited to “driving off road, driving while intoxicated, allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle, etc.” In those instances roadside assistance will be available, but standard charges will apply. If you elect not to purchase the Roadside Service Plan, you are responsible to pay in full for roadside service calls described herein.
